WORKING H MEATS
Working H Meats and Market is a family affair of the Hardesty Family. Terrie and her two sons Grant and Justin are the primary owners and operators. The market and meat processing facility also has an amazingly talented team of butchers and meat cutters.
All processes from slaughtering to packaging are under USDA inspection by a certified USDA inspector on site.
The Hardesty Family also manages and owns several farms in nearby West Virginia where the majority of livestock comes from. Occasionally livestock from other partner farms are used, but in all cases partner farms are inspected or well known by the Hardesty’s. This insures your meats AND poultry are from the highest quality pasture raised chickens and livestock. No anti-biotics and hormone free.
Our Butcher Shop
Your family deserves the absolute best in healthy naturally raised beef, pork, lamb, and poultry. Our USDA Inspected Butcher Shop is reviving the tradition of the Neighborhood Butcher Shop where friendly service, and quality reign supreme from slaughter to processing.
Our meats are 100% anti biotic and hormone free and grass fed (some organic grains are sometimes used for finishing). We provide much of the livestock from our own Working H Farms family farms and from local partner farms that we have personally inspected.
We have an on-site smokehouse and offer a rotating selection of our renowned bacon and specialty sausages as well as other specialty smoked meats.
